Featured Product: Four-wheel, Fully Adjustable! Four-wheel K-9 Cart Dog Wheelchair adjusts 3 ways
This newsletter marks the official launch of our redesigned four-wheel K-9 Cart Dog wheelchair. The new, improved K-9 Cart is the only front extension dog wheelchair that is adjustable in length, height, and width. Since not every dog or cat can come to Oxford, MD for a fitting, this enables us to mail-order four-wheel dog wheelchairs and still get the fit right. If you have a two-wheel dog

K-9 Cart Health News: Does Fido or Fluffy need Pet Insurance?
As our own dog ages, we have started to ask ourselves whether we should consider pet insurance. Fortunately, we have found that most pet insurance policies will cover at least a portion of a dog wheelchair purchase. However, not all pet insurance is equal. We spend the last few weeks trying to compare and contrast the major health insurance policies. Let me tell you, it is a lot like comparing apples to oranges. When we looked for good unbiased articles online, all we found was articles that were very general and essentially useless. Look at our latest blog about pet insurance with attentional to details would be important for a K-9 Cart owner. (See more at the K-9 Cart Company East Facebook Fan Page.) But here are a few points:
- No pet insurance covers pre-existing conditions. So don't wait to insure until the problem has occurred to buy insurance; it's too late.
- Check to see which inherited conditions are excluded. Most but not all policies do not exclude hip dysplasia or degenerative myelopathy.
- A 70% or 90% coverage may not cover 70% or 90% of your bill - only 70% or 90% of the pet insurance's expected cost. These expected costs are often much lower than what is commonly charged for knee or back surgery in our experience.
- Almost all pet insurances reimburse the owner rather than paying up front like many health insurances.
- The average pet owner spends $200-$350 for vet care per year. Wellness costs usually require a separate or additional pet insurance policy.

K-9 Cart Photo Gallery: Many new faces are featured in our new brochure...
Our K-9 Cart electronic and print catalog has been updated for 2010. Several new products we have introduced in 2009 have been added. In addition, we have included some new pictures, including our front cover with "Trix" the corgi, who received a used dog wheelchair. We also have updated the website with an easier to browse Photo Gallery and Video Vault. We also hope to adapt this so it is easier for you to upload both your pictures and video to the K-9Cart.com too.
For a limited time, we continue to offer a special on Neo-Paws boots. These boots are great for keeping the salt and cold off those paws as well as for preventing injury should your pet drag a foot or two. Sold in pairs and offered at 10% discount until after the NAVC show.
