Medical Conditions:
Cerebellar Hypoplasia |
Cerebellar hypoplasia is a congenital defect where a portion of the brain, the cerebellum, fails to form properly. The cerebellum is responsible for fine motor control. Thus, jerky movements, tremors, and difficulty walking may be present in these young animals. Cerebellar hypoplasia is most frequently seen in kittens.
